A Dinner Time Hit

This recipe was a big success at my house recently, and it was very simple to make. Give it a try!

Chicken and Dressing Casserole
3 cooked chicken breasts, diced
1 cup of milk
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1 box of Stovetop Stuffing

Combine Stovetop, milk, and soup until thoroughly mixed, then stir in chopped chicken breast. Bake at 350 in a 9x13 pan for 40 minutes. Enjoy the deliciousness.

Serves about 4 people.

I'm a big fan of most casseroles. My mom used to make one that sound similar to this. I should try it. I think it would be best accompanied by cranberry sauce, crescent rolls and green beans.

Did you just cook the chicken in water on the stove?

Chase, I served it with those things, minus cranberry sauce. The recipe called for boiling the chicken, but I just cook it in the oven. I don't notice a big difference.

I am a huge fan of cassaroles! They are quick to make and always taste good. If only they were healthier! I make one similar to this, I cook the chicken on the GF grill while I prepare the rest, and its done in no time. I've done this one with added frozen vegetables, which is good too.

You can add swiss cheese to this for an added creamy surprise!

Also, put all this plus a cup of chicken broth in your crockpot and voila, dinner is ready and waiting when you arrive home!

Without the crockpot...we would starve.
